Office Assistant

The Town of LeRoy is taking applications for the position of Office Assistant to cover a leave of absence.

This purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support for the Administrator. This is a temporary part-time to full-time position that may evolve into permanent part-time.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Providing support to Administrator, provide prompt and excellent customer service to residents, handling cash and bank deposits, prepare invoices, perform basic bookkeeping tasks, type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents.

Other skills would include problem solving, critical thinking, ability to work well with others and good written and oral communication skills. The successful applicant must also possess a minimum Grade 12 and be bondable.
